Dear visitor, we are announcing the closure of our charity after 14 years working to support street children in Cambodia.
With your generous donations we have been successful in helping hundreds of vulnerable children in education, healthcare and well being.
We are a small volunteer-run charity but have been visiting the project in Cambodia annually to maintain connection with the centres we work with.
We are no longer able to maintain the high standard of regulations set down by the UK Charity Commission and CAF bank to guard against money laundering or bribery, which is an unfortunate risk when we are not working out in the field.
As we may not always be able to guarantee the appropriate use of future donations, we have decided to close.
Thank you so much to all our past and present donors. We couldn’t have achieved all we have done without you.
The image here shows our final project, a small children’s library set up on the outskirts of Phnom Penh where hundreds of families were forced to move to after being pushed out of the slums in the city. We have provided funding to start and maintain this project for 1 year, which gives young children a safe place to play, read, and listen to stories.
With love, Jenny & Katy
